What is the procedure for reporting a medical condition?
A When
you apply for a driving licence, you must tell the DVLA if you have
any of the medical conditions listed in the health section of the
D1.
What if I report a condition?
If you
tell the DVLA about a medical condition, they will ask you to fill
in a medical questionnaire. They may also ask your doctor for a
medical report. (This will only be done with your permission.)
Their medical advisor will consider the reports and decide whether
you can have a licence. If you can, they will decide whether your
condition should be reviewed at set intervals.
